And unless we've already told you, you'll never guess what this food is. It looks like the "tree man" warts a little bit, doesn't it? Just try and guess what it is... if you guess correctly, you win!
looks like some sort of pressed meat, but i bet its more along the textured vegetable protein lines (like tempeh). I hope it tastes better than it looks. :)

ReplyDeleteIt's actually ground up and pressed sunflower seeds... Bekah you were close! It kind of has a hardened crunchy peanut butter sunflower seed taste. It's called "halva" apparently. Our facilitator left it in our room.
